About the job

The Business Development Manager for Government Accounts will be responsible to spearhead the launch and business management of our innovative DME neurorehabilitation technology across VAs and Military Centers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advancing patient care through cutting-edge solutions, possess strong sales skills, and have a deep understanding of the rehabilitation industry.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential VA and Military Centers including HUB clinics, Spokes, rehabilitation centers, and healthcare professionals in the neurorehabilitation field based within government accounts.

  • Work alongside the Therapy Consultants to meet and achieve sales objectives.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive the successful launch and adoption of the new product.

  • Conduct VA/Military Centers market research to identify new opportunities and stay updated on government purchasing trends.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders with VAs and Military Centers.

  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to healthcare professionals, highlighting the benefits and features of the products.

  • Provide training and support to healthcare providers on the use of our product.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the Salesforce.com system.

  • Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.

  • Gather feedback from customers and relay it to the product development team for continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies and campaigns specific to government accounts for new product launches.

  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the new neurorehabilitation product.

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support for the product launch.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, PT or OT preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience selling to government accounts in rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation with SCI patients preferred.

  • Experience in launching and introducing non-reimbursed breakthrough technology to the market.

  • Ability to deliver trainings to physicians and HCPs on novel technology.

  • Good communication skills in English; both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work independently with responsibility.

  • Ability to work flexible hours in a dynamic working environment.

  • Travel requirements: Ability to travel up to 70% including overnight travel.

  • Ability to interact with clinical and non-clinical personnel, patients, and caregivers professionally and respectfully.  

  • A valid driver’s license with no limitations operating a motor vehicle; must have a reliable vehicle. 

  • Experience with HIPAA regulations, Medicare, and insurance regulations.

Individual Contributor reporting to our US VP Sales.
