About the job

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will work closely with the marketing and communications teams to create communications plans, organize creative assets, keep everything on track, and identify new creative opportunities. You will be a self-starter who loves details, checking things off the list, and leveraging creativity to overcome obstacles.

Reporting to the Global Marketing Director (Downstream), you will interface with the VP, Communications and other leaders as well as members of the SCI Community and you will have the opportunity to show off your process skills and flex your creative muscle. We expect this to be an exciting year for creativity at ONWARD!

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies and plans to increase corporate brand awareness and promote ONWARD initiatives and therapies.

  • Manage our social media presence, including content creation, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement.

  • Coordinate the production of marketing materials, including presentations, videos, and other collateral.

  • Support internal communications initiatives to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with company values and goals.

  • Create engaging content for various marketing channels, such as social media and our, website.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events, trade shows, and conferences.

  • Monitor and analyze metrics and KPIs to measure and optimize the effectiveness of our campaigns.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

  • Assist in managing relationships with key partners, agencies, and vendors to support marketing and communications initiatives and in obtaining consents and copy approvals.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related roles, preferably in a regulated healthcare industry (medical devices, pharma, healthcare services).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required in English, preferred in French.

  • Incredible attention to detail.

  • Excellent organization and project management skills, with a track record of managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools, email marketing software, and web analytics.

  • Creative thinker with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance considerations is a plus.

  • Ethical person, with positive outlook and unshakeable can-do attitude.

Individual contributor, reporting to the Global Marketing Director (Downstream).
