About the job

The Marketing Manager will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of marketing initiatives, with a focus on  European user needs, product & service roadmap definition, and market access.  They will analyze the target countries’ available market size, characteristics, needs, and access landscapes and create strategies and tactics to define and deliver product and reimbursement strategies and plans.  

In addition to the focus on market access (coding, payment, and reimbursement) plan development and execution in Europe, the Marketing Manager will also work cross-functionally to define user-level (HCP and patient) product requirements and specifications to ensure alignment with market needs, customer preferences, and market access requirements.  

Their contributions will directly impact the trajectory of ONWARD products, driving their adoption and success.

Responsibilities 

  • Inform the company’s market access strategies in collaboration with third-party partners.   

  • Research customer economics for both clinic and patient owned DME devices, as well as surgical implants; contribute to crafting of reimbursement and economic selling strategies.  

  • Represent marketing and voice of customer (VoC) on development teams. 

  • Influence and collaborate with multi-functional project teams to drive product development and roadmap definition.  

  • Analyze potential device indications, market opportunities, and unmet needs to inform product development and clinical research strategies.  

  • Define customer and business requirements, product specifications, and product labelling based on market insights and customer feedback.  

  • Contribute to the creation of product positioning, messaging, and value propositions. 

  • Collaborate with Downstream Marketing team to ensure alignment of upstream strategies with downstream execution.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree required (business, marketing, or science-related field preferred); advanced degree preferred. 

  • 5+years professional experience in product management and/or marketing in medical device or life sciences industry. 

  • Experience in DME and implantable medical technology required; neurorehabilitation and / or neuromodulation / stimulation experience preferred.  

  • Aptitude to create differentiated, pragmatic solutions to access underserved markets. 

  • Desire to drive strategy that results in business and customer success. 

  • Experienced in creating compelling marketing plans and developing value propositions.  

  • Creative problem-solver who functions well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

  • Excellent inter-personal and verbal and written communication and presentation skills (in English).  

  • Global outlook and experience in cross-cultural business environment. 

  • Ethical person, with positive outlook and unshakeable can-do attitude. 

  • Represents the ONWARD CODE (values).

Individual contributor, reporting to the Global Marketing Director (Upstream).
